I’m Simone. I’ve been photographing for five years, and I hold a BA in Studio Art from UC Santa Barbara’s Honors Art program. I work across many mediums—spoken word, songwriting, painting, drawing, and installation—but photography is unique to me because of the people and communities it brings me into. Whether I’m with musicians, artists, the Jewish community, families, local businesses, or nonprofits, I’m always inspired by the connections I get to witness.

I love using a technical understanding of light and camera to illuminate the less tangible things: connection, memory, spirit. I believe humans are both vastly unique and deeply connected by shared experiences, and I’m curious about that balance—what sets us apart and what brings us together.
